At eSynergy Solutions, we like to keep things simple but effective. We break our ways of working down into two models:

  • An engagement model (what we do) and
  • An operating model (how we do it)

The engagement model

Our engagement model is simple: It is what we do.

We begin all engagements by understanding our clients’ business needs and challenges, and proceed with a customer-first, product-centric view. We then work collaboratively to address these.

Next, we collaborate with key stakeholders and plan requirements into sprint–based outcomes, ensuring value is delivered effectively and continuously (aiming to deliver business value every two weeks).

We then design, architect and build to plan, leveraging the value of cloud service providers and modern software engineering patterns and practices. This ensures highly resilient, scalable and quality, software delivery.

Finally, we continuously improve, through testing, security by design, ‘shifting left’ and CI/CD. We embed a growth mindset via upskilling, documentation, pairing and coaching sessions.

The operating model

We leverage state-of-the-art software engineering principles and practices, through automation and codification, via methodologies and patterns, such as GitOps, DevOps, SOA (Service-Orientated Architecture aka micro-services) and Infrastructure-as-Code. We shift left and embed security by design, ensuring that clients are safe and secure earlier in the software delivery lifecycle. We believe in ‘kaizen’, continuously improving business value and delivery through continuous integration and continuous delivery, aka CI/CD.

We partner with the likes of AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google and we love both open-source and turn-key solutions. Whilst we have strong opinions on solutions based on decades of expertise, we are also adaptive to the client environment and specific business needs.

Developers working on the right things can accelerate a company’s move into new markets and help differentiate themselves at disproportionate rates.

This underscores the most important point about developers as force-multipliers: It’s not just about how many developers a company has, it’s also about how they’re being leveraged.
