Flagstone is the UK’s leading cash deposit fintech, working with organisations like Chip and Revolut through deep API integration. Founded in 2013, using an enterprise .NET monolith on AWS – and now fully cloud-native on the Microsoft Azure cloud. The technology organisation has gone through an incredible journey of app and platform modernisation, whilst supporting the scale of a high growth fintech. This is a story of evolving a software architecture to support growth, but more importantly, the people and org changes needed to achieve desired outcomes. An interesting journey talking about the things they’ve learned, the challenges they’ve faced and the aspects of the business the company is most proud of.
