As a people-centric business, we believe growing your network and making life-long relationships is just as important as skills development.

At least once a year we like to shake the London dust from our heels and head off abroad for our annual sales conferences. Obviously, these trips are to promote workplace bonding and discuss new company strategies and initiatives…but also to reward our hardworking team and fabulous clients with some fun holidays in interesting places. In the past, we have been to Miami, Barbados, Iceland, Texas, Las Vegas, and Dubai. And not to forget various ski trips in the Austrian and Swiss Alps.

You may recently have got some out-of-office emails from the team. We have just returned from a fabulous trip to Crete! Arguably the best trip but I’m biased as it’s my first…
Crete was all about celebrating last year’s success and I can tell you we celebrated in style!

We will blame the excitement and the heat for the competition of who can lose the most room keys and the multiple dance-offs. Anyone who knows the esynergy family, knows we love nothing more than to get competitive!

Although not all of us made it to the boat trip (blame the sun and dancing), it was a fabulous day that involved one boat taking on the role of the party boat with 90’s throwbacks blaring and another turning into a glorified hair salon with their wonderful Captain George offering shampooing sessions on the side of the boat whilst rocking a pair of superman speedos (memories that unfortunately last a lifetime). When we docked for lunch we were thrilled with ginormous flaming fish, oysters and some other scrumptiously delicious food!

Another stand-out evening was the Greek night the hotel put on for us. After what felt like 105 courses and some very full bellies… we all joined in on traditional Greek dancing! It was quickly identifiable who had natural rhythm and those who weren’t so blessed…

A massive thanks to Jen and Kelly who cat-herded 39 people to and from Crete safely with the effortless grace and elegance they always possess.

For those that joined us, thanks for making the trip so special and sharing memories that will last a lifetime. It’s not where you are in the world but who you are with.

Finally the biggest thanks to Pat for his continuous kindness and the thrill of adventure! Your generosity astounds us. Thank you.
