Neal Venables is a seasoned data practitioner and leader, with thirty years' experience in the sector. He has been building performant data teams since the late 90's and has worked across a variety of vendors and enterprises across the commercial and third sectors, including Microsoft, Prudential Assurance, The Reed Group and currently Marie Curie, where he is focussed on pivoting the organisation to a cloud-first, micro-services data infrastructure.

Stewart is an experience data leader with over 15 years’ experience working across FTSE 100 organisations in analytics, data risk, organisational risk, and unlocking the value of data to drive decision making. Currently on sabbatical, Stewart was most recently the Chief Data Officer for bp plc, covering the global Finance organization as well as Head of Analytics for their Global Business Services division. Prior to bp, Stewart spent 13 years with EY and led the UK Risk Analytics practise, consulting extensively with many of the largest and most complex organisations based in the UK and Europe. Specialising in SAP, data risk management, and use of behavioural indicators to manage risk and unlock the value of their data, Stewart built several built several solutions internally and within client which mitigated multi-million pound exposures, optimised capability deployments within the organisation, and improved capital management. Working with other senior leaders in clients, Stewart supported organisational capability builds and helped clients transform the use of data for decision making. Through his career, Stewart has predominantly worked across the Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, and Retail sectors. He is CISA and CDPSE certified as well as holding degrees in Accountancy and Immunology & Pharmacology.
