Once a year the esynergy team and our family and friends head down to Wakeup Docklands for our annual summer party. Every year we throw ourselves into wakeboarding and paddleboarding and reward ourselves at the onsite Tiki bar and BBQ!
This year we had some new faces join and we got to meet Shannon’s latest addition to her family, baby Elsie. We also celebrated Kelly’s 23rd birthday with her very own princess cake. Happy Birthday, Kelly! It wouldn’t be a summer party without the classic British rain… mind you this didn’t stop Marcus as he carried on his DJ set in his wetsuit, even managing to rope some of his victims into karaoke. Harriet and her partner Dougie became BBQ King and Queen with a seven hour cook in an attempt to feed the troops. With a big shoutout to Jen and Lou for this last minute supermarket sweep! Thankfully no one left hungry. Including the three doggies who were delighted with their sausages! A massive thanks to Jen and Kelly for organising the summer party. As always, you made sure everyone had glorious fun! For those that joined us, thanks for the brilliant memories and hope to see you back next year! |
Finally the biggest thanks to Pat for sharing his passion for water sports. You have certainly inflicted the wakeboarding bug on many of us…. And next time we will be more prepared for “bumper boards”. Bring it on!
